The Production

KE-2
Founded in 1982, KE-2 currently produces 250 bopd of
crude oil with the peak rate at 11.000 bopd.
KE-5
Founded in 1983, KE-5 currently produces
approximately 150 bopd of condensate and 8 mmscfd of
natural gas and condensate are transported through
14 inch, 65 km pipeline to Onshore Receiving
Facilities (ORF) at Gresik.
Poleng Field Technical Assistance Contract (TAC)
Kodeco has a 50% stake in licensed areas located in
Poleng Field near the island of Madura.
Approximately 3.600 bopd of crude oil and 65 mmscfd
of natural gas are currently being produces from two
fields (AW and BW). The crude oil is transported to
FSO tanker, while the natural gas is distributed to
PLN Gresik.
KE-23
In November 2001, Kodeco commenced production from
the successful discovery KE-23 field. Production
rates from this field currently at 10.000 bopd with
18 mmscfd gas from 4 wells. The field produces to
the common facilities at AW platform. A number of
upgrades to the processing facilities on the field
were made in 2001. These upgrades are expected to
provide a more stable flow in the production system
and, ultimately, enhance Kodeco’s production
capacities.
KE-40
Newly developed field that is scheduled for its
first oil production at the end of 2004. The
approximate peak rates are 5.000 bopd of crude oil
and 30 mmscfd of natural gas that will be processed
in KE-5 CPP. Separated gas will be transferred to
ORF, and the crude oil to Poleng AW Platform.
KE-30
Another newly developed field that is scheduled for
its first oil production at the end of 2005. The
approximate production from this field at the peak
rate are 3.750 bopd of crude oil and 8 mmscfd of
natural gas.
New Plan of Development (POD)
Commencing in late 2007, the new PODs (KE-32, KE-38,
KE-39, and KE-54) are going to produce approximately
134 mmscfd of natural gas at the peak rate and 2.000
bopd of oil / condensate respectively.
Gas Expansion Phase II
Kodeco plans to install new compressor at AW
Platform in 2007 to accomodate daily sale rate of
140 bbtu or 125 mmscfd of natural gas. Tis is as an
addition to the 14 inch, 65 km pipeline from CPP to
ORF that will accomodate gas sale rate of 200 bbtu
or 175 mmscfd of natural gas.
Madura Jaya
Operating in Poleng Field, Madura Jaya functions as
temporary floating storage tanker for crude oil with
a capacity of 600.000 barrels. Periodically, a
shuttle tanker will carry the crude oil and export
it to certain locations.
Onshore Receiving Facilities (ORF)
Kodeco has the exclusive use of an onshore
processing plant in Gresik, which consists of
facilities for final processing of condensate and
gas streams from its offshore facilities into
separated condensate and natural gas. The condensate
is stored in two tanks each with a 10.000 barrels
capacity and is periodically transported along a 1,5
km pipeline to PLN Gresik Power Generation Plant. To
anticipate an increase in gas sales contracts,
Kodeco has begun plans to upgrade its gas gathering
and export system. |
